Yeah, I get that from everyone anymore...once I mention my 3k oil changes...
I guess I should let it go for about 5-6k miles anymore...as I am still stuck in the 80's.
I use non synthetic in my BMW's and change the oil every 3k or 3 months.
Castrol GTX with BMW oil filters..It's been my ritual since I got my licence in 1996.(I'm 25 yrs old btw)
I've been using mobil 1 in the kia because my dad uses it in his new m3.
Just the assumption that a newer technology car should use synthetic oil.
I'll be sure to change the oil every 5-6k now. My friends change their synthetic oil on their acura's and hondas every 6,7,8k miles...SO I should have got the hint then. I guess I'm just stubborn. Thanks for the input.
Ok back to the RIO5:
Yes I am fully aware that the Fit is headed to showrooms any miniute..and is expected to be a award winning sub-compact. Not only the Fit is coming ...The Yaris is already here. Truth is...the majority of americans will purchase the honda or toyota over the kia. (sad but most likely true)
Both these cars are going to cause quite a stir for KIA dealers.
Still I want the RIO5, I test drove one months back and really liked it.
In testing (Handling) the RIO5 out performed the 2006 base mitsu eclipse!
Not to mention..the car is not even aimed to compete against something like that. It's a econo car. Fun to drive and gets 38mpg highway. I want it for the smallness, economic savings, and the fun to drive factor..
They better start the rebates so I can buy one. I want to get rid of the spectra5 by September...because I'm moving to southern Florida for Grad School...and I would like to be driving a RIO5 there.
Big City..need a small car
(well smaller than a already small spectra5)
