What are the best aftermarket headlights to get for a car? I want them as bright as possible(must be legal in the USA)

i know about

Sliverstar and the other ones are GE NightHawks

i have been seeing ford focus with projector lights on the car. i realy with some thing like this would come out for the rio.
maybe they would work with a little moding =)

crap mods, shrink the pic if you would please.

peddy he meant healight bulbs not headlight housing...


The absolute best is piaa but youll pay out at least 55 bucks for a pair.. other than that sylvania silverstars are probably the best!

i know what he ment. and i think the stockers work damn good. i just want a hole new setup with 2 lights one for the high and one for the lows.

i went to some like tinti shop/ mod place and they had "halo" branded heaglight bulbs. he said they were brighter than the silverstars..is it true? and i ll look for the piaa

The color difference is the only thing that is noticable without having the packages here to verify. The first link has a temp rating of 3800k and the second was 4000k. This in most simplistic terms means the second is going to have a slightly more "bluish" tint than the first. Also, I would check and see if the voltage is the same on both. The second has voltage of 100/110w. I believe stock bulbs run 55/60or65w. This increase in voltage can result in premature bulb failure and possible wiring harness problems. I know from personal experience (in my honda) 100w bulbs would only last a few weeks to maybe a couple of months before going out. If you can find some blue 55 watt bulbs they should last longer. Anway, that is my .02

never heard of halo.. and peddy if ya want the brightest possible look into a real HID kit!
I think the stockers are dim as could be...

I use apc blue there 55w/65w but says it has a output of 90w/100w makes alot of difference on the back roads can see alot more.
