Maybe this isn't the case for you people living in the US... but for some reason here in Canada the Rio5 Ex + Ex Convenience come with a CD/MP3 player... but the top model Ex Sport only has a regular CD... has anyone out there pressured their dealer into swapping from an Ex or Ex Convenience... is it even possible... they look almost identical in size...

Kind of lame to respond to my own post... but just an update... my dealer says they'll do the swap for $75 to cover the labour... seems fair enough to me... cuz otherwise I end up with a reg CD player.

I sort of wish they'd have offered some of the upper-end head units (the MP3 and cassette one especially) in the US as options, though I can get an arguably better unit from Pioneer (double-DIN to boot) that also plays iTunes AAC files as well as regular CD's and tapes. All we get in the US is the standard AM/FM/CD radio, which is pretty basic though a nice unit for stock, not bad at all. Going to upgrade speakers first...

Turns out... after saying they could do the swap for $75... they noticed after taking them out... the connectors are different... looks like reg. CD for me.
