Thumbs down

today i dropped off the car at the dealer to see what they could do about the rear defrost in my 06 rio5... apparently when we removed the paper license in the rear window, the adhesive tore off chunks of the heating element. end result: four of the heating elements didn't have connectivity and quit working. these are apparently very touchy, and are not imbedded in the glass (they seem to be a sticker-like add on to the interior).

the back glass has to be replaced. (under warranty, of course)

so, for those of you with a new enough vehicle to still have the paper license adhered to the glass, be reeeeally careful when you remove it.

They should put another sticker next to this sticker warning people to "Peel off carefully"
