I was looking at my wheels, and noticed that the silver paint is not thick enough on the sides of the spokes. I can see mainly the white primer, with just a thin layer of silver painted over it. I started to look around the car, and I noticed that they did not paint the rear hatch jams, or the inside of the hatch its self. It is all still white, and my car is silver. Under the hood is the same. It looks like the metal flake is spotchy on the hood too, as id the flakes are laying differently. Is any of this normal?

Thats odd... I had the tinted windows thing on my sticker as well... but the car is pained well enough... the tinted windows thing could have been a typo... if you look at some of the sedans they do actually come with tinted windows. They're probably useing the same sticker for all the Rio's. Actually... legal speaking... if it says something on the sticker, that means you paid for it. Thus... if the windows aren't tinted, you should get them to do it for yoU!

Just a note on the paint situation. If the paint is flawed or incomplete I would take it back to the dealer and make them replace it. I bought a Land Rover once and it had some paint defects and they immediatly replaced it with another one. I know, I know, that was Land Rover and this is Kia. But it's still a paint defect.

I fought with them today, and they will be painting the car tomorrow, as well as tinting the windows for me. All free of charge.

Update. They did not paint it for me. It turns out that the inside of the rear hatch is painted, but without metal flake, or clear coat. So... on a silver car, such as mine, it apears grey, like primer. They showed me a Gold car, and it just looked like a flat tan color. All of the rust prevention is there, just not prety enough for show.
