Hello again! Hopefully this weekend, I'll be hooking up my aftermarket CD player to my Rio5. Since I'm hooking in an amplifier, I don' t really need to know which wires are speaker wires. I just need to know the color of the following wires:

Continuous Power (Yellow?)
Battery Power (Red?)
Ground (Black?)
Illumination (Orange?)

All I need to hook up the CD player is those three wires. Those are the colors they are in standard wiring. Of course, Kias are made in South Korea, so I'm not sure if that's the case here. I want to be careful not to fry the car/stereo.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Constant-RED
Ignition-GREEN
Ground-BLACK

You won't need the illumination wire for an aftermarket deck.

There's actually two black wires, both go to ground, so you may as well use both; just twist them together when hooking them up to the deck.

Battery power and Continuous power is the same thing. There are no standards for car companies to make wire colors the same, but there is a standard for the aftermarket companies. (aftermarket, yellow is always constant, red is always ignition, blue is always amp turn on/power antenna, etc..)

Oh, I've never seen that before on an aftermarket deck. If you need the illumination color, let me know.

I am not using an amp, so it would be nice to know the colors for all the wires. And, no, I don't want to buy a harness.

Default Car stereo Wiring

I have a 2007 Kia Rio5. The wiring diagram i got from the Kia web site was the following.
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Red
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Green
Car Radio Ground Wire: Black
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): White
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Black
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Red
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Blue
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Green
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Orange

I hope I got it right.
