Default How to remove the visors????

Anyone know how to remove the visors inside a 2007 Kia Optima??
I think the spring broke andnow the thing just hangs there in my line of sight like a limp noodle. Its hella irritating especially at night.

just take it back to a kia dealership
those are under warranty and they should replace them free

i've got my driver side replaced already
and i've heard of other ppl going through like 3 of them
cuz they break easily

it's a very common problem. we replace those all the time. my record for changing them is 5 minutes. this includes pulling it in and out of the shop.

kiaracer, are you a tech at kia?

if so

i drive a 06.5 kia optima and tried to get it aligned the other day at firestone.
they told me they couldnt fix the camber or the caster and i prolly had to buy new front struts

here are my readings for the front right tire:

camber -1.1
caster 4.2
toe 0.01

-----

can you guys fix this?
and is this under warranty?
im the first owner with only 24k miles

You can fix camber up front with camber bolts. You can't fix caster but luckily it doesn't affect tire wear.

yes i am a kia master tech. alignments are considered an adjustment and adjustments are only covered under the 12 month/12K mile warranty. the only way you would get a alignment covered under warranty is if you took it to a dealership and they found out that a suspension part was defective and needed replaced. replacing a part that affects the alignment would require an alignment and they would have no choice but to align it under warranty if this was the case. but just to have an alignment only covered under warranty, you'd have to be within the 12/12 warranty.

as for if we could fix it, most likely we could. anything is fixable unless something is really screwed up but it would require taking a look at it to see what is wrong with it. what did the alignment specs look like before someone aligned it? if someone couldn't adjust camber or caster, they don't need to be aligning cars. it's not that complicated. they just wanted to sell you struts.

im taking it to the dealership this morning

my alignment specs before any fix are

front right
camber -1.1
caster 4.2
toe 0.09

and i've never run over a curb
the only thing was a parking lot nudge while turning into a spot
but even that
i didnt feel the alignment go off
til recently when i bought new tires
then it started pulling to the right slightly

Very common problem. Don't remove them. Make an appointment with Kia to have your busted visor(s) replaced. They are covered under warranty. Kia replaced both visors in my '06 Optima free. They are something like $80-90 each if you have to pay, so do it while your car is still under warranty. Kia needs your old visors to return, so don't remove them! They won't replace them under warranty otherwise.

Default Removing sun visor

I want to replace my 2007 Optima (out of warranty) passenger sun visor but I can't get the little plastic cover over the screws off. I've pried ever way possible and it just won't pop off. Any ideas?
