Question After market Keyless Entry for 2006.5 Optima

I went to the local dealer to find out about a factory key-less entry system. They want an arm and a leg for one. I was wondering if there is someone out there that has put in an aftermarket system in one. Also will it affect the warranty? Thanks for the help.

probably will affect the warranty. Kia wont even help techs with electrical issues if it has a remote start installed aftermarket.

i realize that but what im saying is that a basic remote start is not as in depth as a keyless entry. I know exactly what im talking about. So if the simple remote start makes kia not help us, why would they help us when someone cuts into the security system of the car?

no one said you didnt know what you were talkin about. the op wanted to know if anyone had one installed, and if it will affect the warranty.
