Default Optima aftermarket wheels

So Ive been racking my brain trying to figure out what type and size of wheel I want to install on the Optima. I think I know what I want now but I thought it would nice to collect pictures of various aftermarket wheel pics.

These are Volk Time Attacks , not sure of the size, but they are staggered and I would love to rock that on my ride.

now this particular Optima is lowered, I have no intention of lowering mine seeing that the ride quality is great and I wouldnt want to change that.

Whats the largest tire I could run with a 18" wheel. One size I believe will work is 235/45/18 that would be with a 18x8 wheel as well. I would rather run a 50 series sidewall so I could retain some ride quality.

Any opinions , remarks ?

Forgot to post up the pics of the wheels Im considering.

Enkei LM1's are what Im strongly leaning towards.

Reason being is its pretty close to the design of the Stock 17's , albeit one spoke short.
My optima is Black on black, and these are some similar styled cars with the LM1's.

Optimal,
I think the black rims look great, actually considered swapping out my 17's for something similar. But the more I thought about it, I decided not to go that route.
A couple of reasons effected my decision. First the black rims give the car an aggressive look that it simply cannot back up. Along the same lines, our brake rotors look way too little when matched up with rims that have large open areas (voids) between the spokes. Second, we have chrome trim around the windows and chrome door handles. I think the black rims would look good if the chrome was blacked out. Somehow it doesn't look right to me if left stock.
Now the other rims you mention fit the "look" and design of the Optima way better in my opinion. Gives it a nice sporty look yet is still elegant. Almost like it could have been a factory option.
My favorite look is the "black chrome" BBS wheel. But no way am I dropping over two grand for a set of wheels! (you can see them at tirerack.com)
Whichever you decide, I can't wait to see pics!

thanks, maybe but you dont need to it rides just like stock to me with these tires, and more sidewall would poss. start to roll over when turning hard .with these i can corner 3 times better than stock 16's,even with stock suckspension.

Well one of the reasons I wanted at least a 50 series was to help fill up the wheel well as well it keep it riding cushy. Im not to concerned with it handling better, so a stiffer side wall isnt a priority.

I am suprised you went with such a wide tire , I would love to see some pictures on the front and rear if you could. Im curious as the what the stance looks like from those angles.

I'd like to know what size those Volk Time Attack wheels are and what rubber is on them. I'm looking at running 18 x 8 with a 235 x 40 tyre altough i'm also considering 19 x 8 with a 235 x 35 tyre. I love the wide tyre on the rear look but it is a front wheel drive car. If only KIA made it a V6 rear wheel drive car. Much better for the performance upgrade market.
