Annoying Dash Rattle

I recently took my 07 LX Optima to the dealership twice for a dash rattle noise, especially on rough roads. But, the mechanics did not find a focus of the rattle noise. The rattle is really annoying. Anyone else with this problem ??

I have an 07 EX 2.7 and I have the same issue. The dash seems to rattle when going over any sort of moderately rough road. Also, when on rough highways, there is a metallic pinging from under the car....and FINALLY there is a separate rattle in the right door when hitting any sort of bumps.

So minor my service dept couldn't find them either. The dash rattles all over when it does.

Not a huge issue for me, I just live with it. Anyone have a fix?

I noticed a really annoying rattle in the center of the dash and have narrowed it down to the removable ash tray. I dont smoke so I have taken it out , havent had the issue since. Try it out and see if that does it for you.
