Default 2007 Kia optima oil plug location/removal problem

Is the drain plug located about 12 inches behind the oil filter? Im sure its the drain but cant get it to budge. Im trying to turn it anticlockwise and its not moving.

You are absolutely right. the drain plug is located as you described. It's hard to loosen it due to the drain plug's 45 degree angle. I had to have dealer loosen it up first so I finally turned it move. However, I had round up the drain plug(bolt) a little bit. I have checked with dealer. It cost $8 to get new one to replace it.
In addition, I bought a 10" STANLEY locking wrench to tackle the drain plug. It had been successful when I changed the KIA sportage oil.

I ended up taking it to a shop and letting them loosen it for me. Thanks for the reply though.
