Kia Made Optima Body Kit?

Has anyone seen a Kia made Optima body kit? The service people at the local Kia dealer were talking about one, but I haven't been able to find anything about one on the Kia site.

I have not seen one from Kia but Evofusion has 2 kits. They can be found at www.evofusionusa.com Your Leader in Performance

As my title here says, there is nothing on this site for the Optima. What body kits did you see???

Is it just me, or are all the links on that page broken? They seem to point nowhere. When you back out to the Kia selection page, it doesn't even list the Optima.

I'm not sure. I have never heard of Kia developing it's own body kit for Optima...

I stopped at my local Kia dealer yesterday and saw a 2008 Optima accessory brochure and they show a body kit in it. It looks a little lame, but who knows. I have been going to the Evofusion site for months, the day I posted about it it was gone. I e mailed them but no response yet, if I hear anything I will post. The body kits looked great, much better than the Kia one.

Its probably a lip kit or ground effect kit that Kia is selling.

The Optima body kit goes completely around the bottom of the car and is for 6-cylinder models only (rear panel has cut-outs for exhaust). Cost is over $800 and needs to be painted. Part number is U8300 2G000

If you go to a dealer ask for the 2008 Optima Accessories pamphlet -- it shows the body kit on a silver Optima inside it. Looks nice but too pricey......
