Default Roof Rack

I need a roof rack for my 2006.5 Optima. Is Yakima really the only one out there? I really don't want to spend as much on a rack as I paid for my kayak.

Default pricey but great stuff

Rack manufacturers may start designing mounts for the Optima if they see the demand, but until then, Yakima makes a great product.
I bought one 13 years ago for a car, (Q towers) and all I need to make it fit any other car are new vehicle specific "clips".
Since then I bought a set of gutter mount towers to fit my Montero and later a set of towers to fit the factory rack of my Jeep Liberty.
Every one of these kept my bikes tight and secure even on long trips.
Go for the Yakima. It will last, they look good, and I think you will be happy with their performance. Hope that helps.
