Default 2007 Optima RKE programming

Hi--I'm brand new to this forum and need an answer if it is out there. I bought a 2007 Optima LX and it came without the remotes. I got a good remote from salvage that should work, but I need the field programming procedure. Elsewhere on this forum are instructions for a different model that say to enter programming mode by connecting a jumper wire from hot pin to ETAC pin in the diagnostic plug. Will this also work for 07 Optima??? I kinda hate to jump alot of terminals without knowing for reasonable sure!!!

Thanks in advance!

Why not take the remotes you have purchased to a dealership along with your title to the car? That may be safer.

If its under warranty they should be able to do it in about 30 seconds. I used the tool at work to dso it in about 30 seconds when I replaced my BCM.
