Question 2006 Kia Rio Radiator Drain Plug?

I am about to embark on one of my first DIY task. I hope I'm not about to jump in over my head. I just need confirmation on where the radiator drain plug is. My Kia Rio is a 2006, manual transmission.

There is a screw, positioned in the center of the car, that seems directly below the radiator. It is a Philips head screw, and fits snug into something. Is this the drain plug? Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the KIA forums, Please fill out your profile, KIA's are sold world wide and with different engins, ssssooooooo. Location also helps because of climatic conditions.

Anyway go here http://www.kiatechinfo.com/default.asp you have to register but its free. Use the shop button and away you go. It does look like its close to the middle of the bottom casing of the radiator.

Thank you, and sorry for the sparse information. That site is fantastic.

I have Rio 2005. The drain plug is at the bottom of the Rad. It is red color, made of plastic and has Phillips head. I use a large flat head screw driver to remove it.
