Default Tires - Will they fit?

Hey all, just wondering if there's any tire experts out there.
My buddy is giving me a set of winter tires, 175/65/R14 and I want to mount them onto the stock rims for the Rio5.

Current tire size is 175/70/R14.

I'm thinking they should fit but I could be wrong.

Here are a few websites to check out.

For tire calculations use : Tire size calculator

For tire options try : Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels

You can call a local tire shop and they can also tell you if these tires will be okay for your car. There is a thread in the rondo section that is very informative on winter tires. Hope this will help you some.

I just put some goodyear Eagle GT's on my rio. They are 100% better tires than the hankooks it came with. I can actually make it up a snowy hill now it is great. There isnt a spongy feel in corners either. It was definately a good investment.

I wanna go fast!
