Default How to change spark plugs...

Hi
I was looking under the hood of my Kia Rio 2006 and couldn't see the spark plugs so i took off the plastic cap that cover the motor and i see 4 connector but it doesn't look like spark plugs can somebody tell me how to change them and where they are? is there a mechanic manual i can download. thanks

P.S Somebody told me that the air filter in the Rio is very long lasting and should be good for a very long period,is that true?

I don't have any experience on this engine, but I guess You need to take the cover off the center of the camshaft cover.

Take a look at this site and you may find more info - it doesn't have the 2006 listed but it may be similar to the 2005.

Lets see if I can make this work Global Service Way

If you took the plastic cover off, then use your 10mm socket to remove the 3 bolts holding the wiring that runs over the #4 plug and use the same 10mm socket to remove the coil hold down bolts. The Rio uses a coil on plug system so you have 4 coils over each plug.

The Rio air filter is nothing special change it when you would change any other air filter. I changed mine at 25k.
