Default Installing a stereo...

Hubbys car didn't come with any radio in it, and he wants to put one in. Not exactly like pulling out factory and plugging in an aftermarket. The car already has speakers, factory of course, so that's not an issue.
How hard is it? And where can we get a diagram of what's behind the dash?

The trim around the radio will come off. I recommend using a 1 inch puddy knife. I wont cause any damage. In the attached photo it shows you where the clips are that hold it in place.
As for the wiring diagram you shouldnt need it. When you buy an aftermarket headunit you will get a wiring harness that will plug into the back of it. Some times you will get another harness for free especially on crutchfield.com when you buy a headunit. The second harness gets wired into the first one that I was telling you about. Wiring these two harnesses together will make it to you dont have to touch your factory harness. One end gets plugged into the factory harness and the other end gets plugged into your headunit.
