Automatic Transmission fluid change

The first step in the instructions from Kia Tech is to "disconnect the hose, which connects the transmission and the oil cooler. . ." This is on a 2.7L so the transmission coooler is seperate. The second step is to star tthe engine and let the fluid drain out.

Problem is there are 2 hoses. Does anyone know which one to disconnect and how you would identify it?

I know that I could just remove the drain plug and let the fluid out, but that would only change 1/2 of the fluid. I'd prefer to totally change it now and not have to worry about it for a while.

Trial and error.

Use the drainplug.

Disconnect the hose just pumps the pan dry. Removing the drainplug drains the pan dry. No difference!

Disconnecting the hose method requires you to stop, refill, and restart, to truly pump out all the fluid using a gross amount of ATF(capacity + several quarts more).
