Default Rear bench seat removal

Hi All-

How do I remove the rear bench seat in a 2000 KIA sephia? I would like to gain access to the fuel pump access door .

Its been so so long, I beleive if I remember right, on both sides of bench, if you look inbetween the bench and interior plastic there are 2 bolts.
There are 2 on the back side, top , and 2 under the carpet under front of bench..
Its been so long, look in those spots. Its a pain in the ass though I do remember that.

the lower cushion itself just unclips in place by depressing two recessed buttons under the cushion (you have to feel around with your hand). at least that's how it is in my 99.

Yea, front ones are buttons.... I havent worked on a sephia since god 02-03

no problem, did you end up replacing your fuel pump or something?

Yes-fuel pump screws were all rusted I had to get a boneyard tank and one of those screws was broken off flush in the boneyard tank-hopefully I can get by with 5 screws hoding the pump instead of the total 6 do you think that is OK?-and is there any way to check the fuel pump relay to see if it is weak intermintently?
