Default 2001 Sephia - Contol Arms how to replace

Hi,
How do I replace the lower control arms. Do I need new ones? Tuffy quoted a price of $800 to replace both. Could I just replace just the Bushing? My Bushing is shot.

Any remarks would be helpful.

Thanks!

The bushings are available by themselves but you would have to remove the lower control arm assemblies yourself and have a car part dealer with a shop install the new ones.
You could stand to save substantial money if you do it yourself.

Here's a link to a seller on ebay. Just enter the auction # into ebay's search engine...

ebay auction# 190371696037
Part # 0K2C034460
for around $23.00 USA

Are you sure they didn't mean the lower ball joints?

Some control arm bushings are pressed in, make sure if the sephias ones are pressed, that you have a press or access to one. Not sure if they are or not.
I was gonna do the bushings on my old del sol, but it was easier for me to just replace the whole control arms. But they ar cheap for that car and are a bit pricey for sephias.

Its not to hard to do it, you will have to take apart a lot of the front end to do it. took me an hr or 2 a side.
