Default Thank you 1fastkia & ron1004 + Kia sephia Location and installation *pic*

Hi fellas, first of all, i know the title is kinda confused but i didn't wanna post 2 different threads.

1- I wanna thank to 1fastkia and ron1004 for helping out people here on kiaforums. I have been lurking for a while now and i have found very very valuable informations and 99% of them were either from 1fastkia or ron1004. You guys are doing a great job!!!

2- I had huge hesitations and figured the car wasn't getting enough fuel and wanted to replace my fuel filter but i couldn't find the damn thing to replace. I looked all over and no luck. after rolling all over under the car, i found the little bastard.

I don't want others to suffer so i will post a couple picture of the location.

it is on the passenger side, under the car, right by the rear wheel and tank. basicly "RIGHT" under the rear passenger door.

here are a couple pics:

if some of you really need help, can't figure out how to do the job, I can go ahead and do a quick step by step picutred removal and installation for the site.

it is an easy job, first of all, right behind the valve cover, you will see a small valve, just like a tire valve, take the cap off and use a screw driver to release the pressure. and then, get under the car, find the fuel filter and simply, use a screw driver to push the little buttons on each hose that are connected to the fuel filter and slowly pull. it will pop and gets loose. there will be gas leaking from each hose once you disconnect and sure some will be leaking from the filter so stay away from it so it won't get all over you. after that, loose that clamp that holts the fuel filter and pully the fuel filter off and throw that little bastard away installation is reverse. MAKE SURE when you reinconnect the hoses, you hear that "POP/CLICK" noise so you will know they are securely attached. tighten that clamp and then get in the car, hit the gas pedal a few times to pump some gas and then crank that badboy!!!! woohhoooo!!!!!

I know how it is fellas, car is our legs, arms. we have t have and it is painful to have all these problems. Not all of us have enough knowledge to get under the car and repair it and call it a day. so thats why, I am willing to help rest of you with my "little" knowledge on these cars.

hey 1fastkia, by the way, i have a zincyellow 03 cobra.

and I will be reading your and ron1004's advice here many many times. when i was lurking i was seeing nothing but you guys with all those great informations and i was like wow! these guys are really out here helping all those people. I had to post something about it.

about my cobra. it is an 2003 cobra. 4.6L supercharged. came stock underrated 390hp / 390tq but inreaity it was like 425hp / 390tq. Mine is modded, makes about 540-550hp at the crank and arund 575tq. (455rwhp / 478rwtq)

here are a couple videos:

greatlakes dragway, my cobra vs srt-8 charger.

03 cobra. mods: 2.76 pulley, intake, mac O/R pro. - Video

and here is the second fastest run in the country in a pullied cobra

2003 cobra. basic bolts on, pullied only, no port, - Video

Saleens are good but yeah they are expensive. don't worry man GTs are killer too. intake, exhaust, gears = beast. in the future if you can afford, buy a used vortech supercharger for around 2k and tune it. there ya go. you have a 400rwhp /400rwtq light GT that will give hell on most people on the street

thanks again guys and I will keep lurking and try to make step-by step instructions for other members for future references whenever i get a chance on repairs i do
