Hi Mohamed...
It is fairly easy to go the other way (auto to manual) but going to an automatic transmission requires lots of changes...
The automatic transmission is controlled by either the ECM (engine control module) or a separate TCM (transmission control module).
The wiring harness within your car does not support the added wiring. The CV axles will probably have to be changed also... Then you have the shift linkage to contend with...
Earlier makes and models of cars had mechanical controllers within the automatic transmissions and didn't require the "electronics" to control shifting from first to second to third...;

So.... I believe you would be better off getting another car or a "donor" automatic transmission version of your Sephia to swap parts, harnesses from...

Not an easy job...

In the case of these second gen Sephias, there is a TCM (transmission control module), that communicates via wiring and sensors, whith the ECU (engine control unit), to do better shifts according Revolutions per minute, Throttle position sensors, etc... So, to retrofit an Automatic transmission on a Manual Sephia, will require not only the Wiring harnesses, but also the TCM and the ECU.

Besides the Differences on Shifter linkages, instrument Clusters, Axles, etc...

That retrofitting is such a Nightmare... is much easier to sell the Manual car, and buy an already Automatic version of it.

Kind Regards.

thanks all for the advice. i Thought it is can be easy to convert it to automatic because here in Egypt car price is very high. we have opel vectra c 2007 manual 1600 cc I installed 2200 cc engine and convert it to automatic from 4 days and it is okay until now and installed new software also.

That sounds pretty Good.

We really are not saying that it is impossible to do the retrofitting; we are saying that you will need to have an entire donor car, to obtain all the needed parts, wirings, controllers, etc... which means a lot of work and could be expensive enough, to be easier to swap cars instead.

If you can find another Sephia, maybe crashed and inexpensive, but with all the parts needed, you might purchase it, and do the retrofitting, from the other Sephia, being it the donor car.

is your Sephia, Made in Egypt?

One last Question: Is your Sephia, built in Egypt?

As far as I know, the second gen Sephia's production continued in Egypt and Russia, up to 2011; so maybe the engine options and transmission options, could be pretty Different from what we have in this side of the world.

Could you, please, share photos of your Sephia?

I'll like to see photos of your Opel Vectra as well

Kind Regards.
