Hello Sephians ! My son still drives his 2001 Sephia (not bad for a car that he bought for $1,300 and has put almost 80k miles on) and his horn will not toot. I tried to disconnect the horn to feed it 12 v and see if the actual horn was bad, but it is darn near impossible to get to it unless you remove the front bumper cover...problem is that he had a minor front crash about 2 yrs ago that damaged the front bumper cover and it is being held together with paper clips, bubble gum and spit! I would rather not loosen it and then not be able to put it back together again.
Does anyone have an electrical diagram for the 2001 Sephia that shows the horn? if so, can you post a pic of it ?...BTW, I have the Haynes Repair manual and the horn does not show up in the diagrams. Perhaps if the horn is proven to be bad, I may just find a replacement on e-bay and mount it elsewhere in the engine compartment, and not have to mess with the front bumper cover.
Nope! ... ... is very Easy to gain access to the Horn without removing the front Bumper's cover; the solution is to remove one of the Headlamps, two bolts and unplugging it will free enough space to slide your whole arm and reach it.
Wiring Diagram? ... the Horn has its own Fuse and Relay at the engine bay's relay Box, check it there.
I installed Dual tone twin Horns long ago on my Wife's "KiaStein" and you can see a photo of them, also of the tremendous space you gain by removing the Headlamp, at page seven, of our "KiaStein" build thread, follow the web link below:
Loyale 2.7, many thanks for your feedback. I see that you live in Roatan which is part of my bucket list for the great diving spots in the world. I hope the reefs are still in great shape.
The lamp assy's are part of the stuff that is put together with paper clips and bubble gum, but it should be much easier to redo those than it would be to remove the front bumper cover, so I will definitely try that. This car has been great, but it has given us two or three wiring problems in the past, and the Haynes book with its many detailed electrical wiring diagrams has been an incredible help in troubleshooting those problems. For that reason, I renew My call to anyone who may have the wiring info on the horn circuit, in case I have to troubleshoot the wiring itself.

Yes, the world's second Largest coral reef barrier is here, and is Awesome to dive in crystal clear waters, with reef sharks that do no attack humans; have you heard about Diving with Sharks in Honduras?
Back on Topic, to remove the Headlamps should be Easy, despite if they're "Glued" to the Body, you can always use Mega Grey or Ultra Grey silicone to seal 'em again.
Kind Regards.
