My 05 Sorento EX is listed with Kia for the ICV recall, but I never got a recall on the crankshaft bolt - I just had the SECOND FAILURE two days ago at 42k miles. This time the dealer tells me they can't replace the short block like last time, but I have to wait 5 days to have a machine shop machine out the 2nd bad bolt.
Just because your Sorento's VIN is not on the recall list doesn't mean you don't have to worry about a failure.
