The fact that it jump starts would suggest that the battery is dying or dead, or the alternator is not charging it.
Best jump start it then measure the battery voltage, and if the alternator is good then the voltage should be around 13.8 ~ 14.7 Vdc.
If you confirm that the charging voltage is OK, then it would suggest that the battery is bad - get it load tested to confirm.
