Is this a case of possible electro magnetic interference? Have heard people having problems with other modern kit with this problem at hot spots. Could be a good excuse for keeping away from the out law!!
The dealer may pick something up by plugging in the test / fault finding read out.
I have only 300miles on my CRDI ls sw would be interested to hear the result of any test.
