Unhappy Smart Cruise Control is jerky!

I have been saying this since start but it seems the programming still needs fixing after the last recall as that did nothing how abrupt the system accelerates and brakes when there are cars at a distance. It seems the system thinks the car is capable and brakes too late causing the FCW to go off many times. Same while accelerating, where it will accelerate hard when it finds a reasonable open space but only to auto brake when it gets too close to the car ahead. My Mazda radar cruise is the best I have seen so far in the all the vehicles I have tested.

have the dealer apply the SA269 Hydraulic Electronic Control" software update. This fixed my sudden braking and acceleration issues.

Does it do this in all three of the sensitivity settings? I've used mine mostly with the normal setting and haven't really run into this problem. Not to say I'm completely happy with how mine works. I wish it would respond sooner to following distance changes and with less abrupt changes in acceleration and braking (ie. it waits too long to accelerate/brake and then have to accelerate/brake harder to compensate for that delay), and I wish it would keep following distances more consistent.

I already have the recall and this behavior is in all settings. The settings just adjust following distance imho. It doesn't adjust reaction times (it should)
