Has anybody figured out how to have the Iphone bluetooth link to the control panel, the music and Iphone contacts link but the siri and pandora etc as well as the UVO system seem to require a USB connection. I find myself using Pandora more then the XM during my commute and find the cable hookup annoying.

I just paired my iPhone to the vehicle and can use Siri and other features in the phone through Bluetooth. I have noticed that Siri is glitchy however and does sometimes take a couple of times to get my request through which is frustrating.

the UVO based apps do require a USB connection. Pandora or any music will definitely play thru bluetooth as well as Siri, but as stated Siri will be a bit off; i think it technically dials your phone to use Siri. If you connect via USB and have the high end head unit. You can press and hold the talk button on the steering wheel for 3 seconds and you can access Siri seamlessly on the head unit.

Out of curiosity, do you know if you can put the high end head unit into a Sorento that came with the regular UVO radio? It would be a nice upgrade to have the integrated navigation etc

I have the high end unit, Siri works great when the USB is plugged in even hands free you just say hey Siri and it connects without pushing any buttons at all, what i am really interested in is using the built in Pandora app, for some reason it doesn't find the Pandora on the Iphone unless the USB is plugged in, of course I could play pandora on the Iphone and bluetooth the audio to the car but that defeats all the nice pandora controls and display which come up on the control panel if you use the native app. I got my map updated last month and so far in North Texas the navigation has been very good.
