Theres and app on our display / head unit that is called IMAGES. I've plugged my iPhone 6 into the USB port. Connected with Bluetooth. I cannot get the app to open and cannot find anything about what it does or how it works.
Anyone know what it's for and how it works? Will this allow me to play photos from my phone on the display?
I believe they have to be on a USB stick and it will allow you to view the photos on the display. I haven't tried it yet on mine. See page 2-28 in the multimedia system manual.
i was messing around with it a bit. I think jasonamd is right, images have to be on USB to be viewed. I also noticed something about choosing a different background image on the nav screen. Seems like a cool feature, will mess around with it more when i get some photos on to my USB. And let you all know what its all about!!
I have played around with it. You can only view the photos when parked. I really don't know what the value of this is. Why would anyone want to do this for Kia to go to the trouble of creating this feature.
