Anyone know of any options here? Kia in their infinite wisdom decided that with the 16 to make a carpet only mat for the 7 passenger while making the all-weather rubber mat for the 5 passenger. Weathertech doesn't yet have anything for the 16. Any ideas?

2016 Kia Sorento all-weather floor matts & liner

I'm interested as well. I did purchase the all weather mats with the cargo area being a carpeted one for my 7 passenger 2016 Sorento because I figured it was better than nothing until an all weather cargo liner/tray becomes available. I contacted Weathertech and they said they could possibly be available come summer time.

Under my kitchen sink I made a water proof mat to protect the wood just in case.
It' worked very well 3 times now (she "likes to" toss in tall bottles and dislodge the drain pipes).
I used the clear floor runner for home carpets. After cutting to fit plus 1.5 inches each way, I took my heat gun and softened the 4 edges. Folded each over then pressed till cool. The corners I reheated and reshaped.
Cost? $7.00 in 2012.
Now she wants one for her '99 Sportage.
. . . HOPE this helps.

NO EDIT???

Don't use the heat gun inside your vehicle, it WILL melt your interiors plastics.
Another point, if your a little off on the folds you can reheat and refold. Best to use electrical tape as an outline where the folds go. Marker can/will become permanent.

I have been on the hunt for something to fit in my 2016 7 passenger too. Nothing is available. Not sure what Kia was thinking in not offering an accessory like this?

If I come across anything I'll let you know. For now I have the all weather floor mats, and will replace once weather tech has something available for 2016.

Hello,

This is my first post here on this forum. I picked up my 2016 Sorento on March 2nd and ordered the cargo tray/mat for the 7 passenger version from Kia.

It finally came in and there was a little confusion even with the parts department on whether it was supposed to be a rubberized tray or a carpet like mat.

Well it turns out that it is a carpet like mat that has a rubberized underside with Velcro patches to keep it in place. It also is bisected to allow either seat to fold up or down. It isn't a weather tech type solution by any means, but I accepted it for right now as it is better than nothing. Once I get a change I will take a picture so you can get the gist of what it looks like.

I have the [3 row] weathertech floor liners and [behind 2nd row] cargo liner installed - I should have waited a couple of weeks to save on shipping of both together as the cargo liner availability was a little behind the floor liners.

The liners are great at keeping beach sand and child spills off the carpets. Only downside is having to plan when you need to use the 3rd row in order to leave the cargo liner at home, but 95% of the time I use the whole trunk not the 3rd row seats.

Don't know if this was brought up in this thread, but ours came with the cargo net. It really works well in holding groceries, milk cartons, other things. Very robust netting and easily attaches to anchors in truck. We have the third row seat as well and this has been a lifesaver. Bicycle accessory Yellow Flowerpot Table Flower

I've got the netting too but a little bit of a pain to use to open netting before putting in bags. Haven't really used in this car yet but likely will try again absent anything else; one being to put the 3rd row seats up to prevent slide forwards but not a lot of room then.

OEM Rubber Mats

I bought these for now, they fit great and say Sorento along the door side of the front mats. Not weather tech but not as expensive so had some money for PPF (Paint Protection Film)

All Weather Floor Mats - 2016 Sorento

ETA: Ours is a 5 passenger and the second row mats are not one piece but two, it does cover the whole floor area tho. Not a huge deal but wanted to throw it out there

I have a 7 passenger cargo liner for my Canadian 2016 EX+ V6. It's plastic/rubber and is split down the middle part way and corrugated with velcro on the underside to allow for the 3rd row seats to fold while keeping the liner firmly attached to the seat backs. Works well. I got it from the dealer for $120 CAD but there was a lot of confusion around the part number. I have attached a pic of the part label. I do not have a pic right now but it looks almost identical to the 5 passenger model (pic attached) except with the split down the middle to the corrogation to allow for the folding 3rd row.

Right, I've seen the pics of the sticker of the Cargo Liner, but I've googled all of those numbers and can't find anything on it. Is this something that is only available in Canada? I would love to purchase one but I am in California. Does anyone else have any information on this? What is that actual SKU or part number?

3rd row winter mats for Sorento 2016 SX

Kia Canada has the 3rd row rubber liner for teh 2016 Sorento SX (3 rows obviously) on their website (i am unable to add this as URL being a newbie)

Kia calls this an "All Weather Liner" and the picture appears to be rubber all around. it is listed with an MSRP of CAD$152.40. When buying my car 2 months ago the salesperson had said Kia does not make 3rd row winter mats (i got the first 2 rows as part of the purchase price)

Weathertech.ca has "Kia 2016 Sorento DigitalFit® FloorLiner™ - Laser Measured for a Perfect Fit" at CAD$116 (including freight) but strangely the flexible floor mats (which appear to be winter mats from the picture) are unavailable (in order to sell these higher priced DigitalFit ones?)
