(I have the 2014 KIA Sorento EX w/ MyUVO (No Navigation))
MyUVO has a built-in +- 1 Gb hard drive that you can down load music. Once you have downloaded the music it shows up as 'Jukebox'. Put the USB in the USB slot and it will "read the files, etc..." and then the music usually starts playing.. There are some menu items that you need to look for that allows you to select songs (or Select All) and Copy the files from the USB to MYUVO hard drive (remember your limited to 1 Gb)
There are Previous Post on this site that address a couple of Common Issues; (1) How your USB stick is formatted with the proper 'File System' (FAT32, exFAT, NTFS), and (2) the Format of the Music (MP3, wav, wma, etc.). I have a hand full of USB sticks and tried a couple of them to see if they would work and finally found 'one' that worked. I even tried re-formatting a couple of the USB's with no luck. Before you spend much time copying music I would recommend testing a few songs first and make sure your USB is compatible and that your music is compatible.
PennStateMtnMan, seems like your USB & Music are formatted correctly!
What I want to know is, Has anyone been able to get the 'SMS Text Messaging' to work the MyUVO system, I have tested a Samsung Galaxy 4 (a newer phone for the summer of 2013), hooked it up through Bluetooth and can not receive Text Messages. Anyone have luck with Text Messages?
