Has kia /uvo or Windows came up with a update to allow our smart phones to hear and send text?
Or atleast have uvo or kia gave out which phones are able to use this service?

My iPhone 4S with iOS 7 (and before, iOS 6) works perfectly using voice texting. I start up "Siri" and after about a 2-3 second delay, UVO "calls" my phone - like I'm having a phone conversation with myself, and I can text and talk to Siri seamlessly. You do have to wait that 2-3 seconds and you won't hear the initial "beep" that's it's okay to start talking. And after you've finished your "self-call", UVO goes back to playing music (if you had it on).

I think he's possibly pointing out that you can't even hear incoming text sounds (unless you're in Bluetooth streaming audio mode).

It's kind of annoying. I want to pair my phone for phone calls, but not hearing the incoming text sound is harsh. I'll get out of my car and have texts of some importance that I didn't notice because the sounds didn't play.

I wish there was a way to activate Siri without having to actually physically use my phone. If someone can figure that out, that would be awesome. I use Siri all the time to perform tasks for me while I'm driving (I put on 2k miles a week), and I hate to have to fumble for my phone to hold the button down.

Its a shame that kia didnt make uvo sms text streaming more available to everyones smart phones . I hope they come out with a firmware that makes the sms on uvo more accessible.

Every time I get a text on bluetooh, it reads the text to me and says who it is from. Then I can "ignore" or "reply". All voice automated of course. Didn't work on my old Android phone, but works on WP8 phones.
