The factory tires suck.. 20,000 miles and they are shot, any suggestions on 17 inch all season.. these things were bad from the get go, hoping to get a smoother ride out of new ones.. will cost me too. cannot even turn a corner going 5 mph without sliding in the snow.. thinking about going to the dealer and see what they have to say.. diffinately do not want this brand. KUMHO

cannot even read the lettering on the side.. thanks

Well, mine got replaced after 3 1/2 years. It has 52k miles on it. Kumho tires are good but its horribly hard. Not comfortable yet silent and durable. Winter hits Chicago so, I have no choice, but to replace a 30% tread remaining into a cheaper one. Cheaper it cost but performance wise, I'm happy. Satisfied hands down. I feel in love once again to my ride...Which I though the most uncomfortable SUV around...
Folks, about the ride issue with this car, just change your tires and the problem will be gone at least 80%.
I got my tires 235/60/18 less than 400 bucks. I used it for 2-3 months now with no complaints. Traction, comfort ,nice looking and is good for snow although it's all season tires. M+S. I'm good with it.

Drive safely..

I got 49,000 kms out of my Kumho's and I agree - they are the worst tires I've ever had. I got rid of them two weeks ago with 4 mm of tread left. I replaced them with a set of Nokian WRG3's.

The WRG3 is an all-season/weather tire with a bias towards winter. During the number of snowfalls we've had in Toronto lately, the tires have been amazing. To me they feel even better in the snow than a set of Michelin Primacy Alpin's that I had on my 2001 Jetta (tire size was 195/65-15) but some of the improvement could be from the stability of the Sorento and it's weight.

Needless to say, I am extremely happy with these tires and highly recommend them.

YES Firestone Destination LE2 are amazing.
You'll wish you put them on when you bought the car.
You won't even need 4wd to get around.
Best $600.00 I ever invested on my Sorento.
If you compare the Kuhmo to Firestone on Tirerack.com you will wonder why Kia even puts them on a car if they are trying to gain customers.
