2013 Sorento only started being manufactured at the start of the 2013 financial year. (July, 2012)
So, unless you wanna wait for July 2013, grab yourself a 2013 model!
Unlikely. There was no "2010" Sorento due to the model revamp and I suspect that KIA designated the new model as a 2011 was have something to sell and to draw attention to the model. I doubt that they would want to cannibalize sales of the 2013 model half-way through the model year.
2011 Sorento (XM chassis, i.e. 'the new one') came to Australia in December 2009, or there-abouts. We bought ours in January.
Then the 2012 came out in July, 2011.
My Skoda is a 2012 model, it was manufactured in July 2011 and I bought it in December 2011.

Good lord Kia did such a good job with the facelift. Definitely brings it up to the competitions standards. Can't wait to see these things on the road.
