Camber Kit available now to fix Pull to the Right issue!
Ok guys, so I've taken my Sorento in several times for the "Pull to the right" issue that many people have, and last week I was told that there is now a Camber Kit available to fix the problem. It was installed yesterday and I've since put about 60 miles on it which were smooth and straight.
The part number is:
#KI6161036 [Camber Kit] Qty: 2
This was (obviously) all covered under warranty, good luck to everyone else

Thanks for posting this. Do you happen know if the warranty will cover even if you are past 1 yr/12k miles? I took my Sorento in once for this issue and all they did was realign and rotate tires. Seemed to help a little bit at the time but the problem is back.
I don't have this problem on my 2012 SX, at least that's what I think.
Is this very common?
It's fairly common, but it doesn't affect all of the vehicles. If you're driving down the road on a non-windy day and you gently let the steering wheel do it's own thing (keep your hands there, just relax your grip) and it starts changing lanes on you then you have this problem. Of course this should be done by a professional on a closed track since you no longer are steering the vehicle and I am not responsible for your actions

They should, mine has 13K on it but I've also taken it into them 3 times at that point, twice before the 12K mark.
Hi Doug0716,
I have the same right pull prob but also, did you have steering wobble at low speeds on small bumps ? Did the Camber kit fix this ...and also how long did repairs take at your dealer ? Thanks for this post, has been very helpful.
I did not have the steering wobble at low speeds so I can't speak to if this will fix that. My dealership is really close to my work so after the part arrived I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up after work so I don't know how long it took them to do it other than less than a full work day.

I too have the wheel shake. This week was my 3rd time taking in the car for the right pull and wheel shake. I have owned the car for about 1 1/2 years. I mentioned the Camber fix, they didnt do it, the tech said everything was aligned, balanced, rotated my tires and filled them up to teh correct pressure. I still get a little tire shake, pain. dont want my tires to wear out quick.

how many miles on your tires? and maybe you have a bad tire or out of round or slightly bent rim.
If you think it might be something w/ a wheel/tire and not the alignment/suspension then maybe you could convince them to put a set of wheels/tires from a Sorento that doesn't have this problem on your car to see if it fixes it?
Or if they won't you could manually swap the spare tire out, one at a time, for each of your wheels and see if you can figure out where the problem is.
