Thanks. Much as I expected. No mention anywhere there of increasing caster to offset road surface camber. "Caster angle has effects on :
Straight-ahead stability
Steering wheel returnability
Steering stiffness"
So I wont be increasing caster on my Sorento to offset its Chronic pulling away from the road crown. To the LEFT in Australia.
However the article does mention setting asymmetric caster and camber as a strategy to induce a pull towards the road crown. This Cross-Camber and Cross-Caster is going to be my next step.

Asymmetric caster and camber, yep.
Q: What does your alignment guy say?
How about this, talk this issue over in depth with your alignment guy, Have the car aligned and then report back.
1: Post your BEFORE and AFTER ALIGNMENT SPECS.
2: Swap tires side to side.
Q: OEM tires? How many miles on tires?
EDIT:
Q: What size, brand, model , and "type" of tires are on car? Type of tires on car may be a contributing factor.

Yes we too have been having issues with our 2012 Sorento SX AWD V6 pulling bad to the right since the day we drove it off the lot! 31 NOV 2011. Called the dealer the next day and reported this, never noticed it during test drive or probably wouldn't have purchased the vehicle...
they don't have an alignment machine so have to use a sister machine at another dealer...just down the road, took two months to get in for that.
Acted better for a short period but came back worse than ever...keep tires rotated every other oil change, no visual wear...time goes by take it back to the dealer to get annual inspection required by the state and car has 17K miles on it now tell them that the front end vibrates and pulls very bad to the right still...
They inspect, service manager and tech ride with me in car to see what its doing agree there is an issue, and schedule appointment for alignment at sister dealer again, a week later..(that was yesterday 13 DEC 2012)..
Get the car back from that dealer..drive down the road let go of the wheel to see...off to the right she goes, try various spots in the roads, ie different lanes still the same result...back to KIA
walk in ask for the service manager..sees me and drops his head, knows theirs an issue still. explain just got out of the alignment and still a problem..
he grabs another tech and the three of us ride in the car and the tech is..yeah that's not right there is an issue! Hello!
So leave them the car again, and away I go...five hours later its ready all done car is fine problem fixed...drive back out 30 minutes one way again.
get there and the explain that they aligned it two more times, still had an issue, so loosened up the left strut and reamed out some 1/2" hole, and made it a 5/8" hole to help shim that side to make the car go back to the left...sounds fishy to me already..now I have extra non factory holes in my 2012 car!!!
So I say ok lets go see, they say its all fine...hop in the car with a different tech and manager and away we go!!!
And guess what...it pulls to the right again and still!!!
Ok people get it right...hello
So they say we will keep the car, good thing we own more than two vehicles, so we can get to and from work... (they do offer a rental)..no thanks...they keep the car overnight and put in something to KIA and yes KIA tells them in the morning that there is a TSB and that they need to do the sub frame shift...now isn't this a recall type item that should be addressed and done on ALL SORENTO's?
the car is NOT SAFE to drive like this..we have a 17 year old who drives and I will not let her drive this car like this!!! If you are not holding the car hard to the left it will go right and you are into the ditch or another lane of traffic!!!
I sure hope that they get it right today...If you own one of these cars get it fixed TODAY..don't wait it doesn't get any better, alignment doesn't help, its not the tires..its a poor design with issues!!! Thanks for posting this, I sure wish dealers would read this stuff, sure keep me from having to try to figure out whats wrong for them. Now to figure out what to do about all my missed time and work and the extra trips to and from the dealer that were not needed. good luck to all.
Waorgany, give Kia customer service a call, tell them how upset you are. Hopefully they will do something for you, they took care of me and I can't complain. Now that they did the sub frame adjustment and with 30,000 miles I'm very happy with the Sorento.
As it's up to the customer alot of times to "push" to get the dealer to address "complicated issues.
(EG: Issues beyond replacing brake pads and other HIGH PROFIT items...)
How about someone post (Do a copy and paste of) the tsb on the "sub frame adjustment".
Link to TSB is good to, reason for posting the procedure in the TSB is to help those who may be having this problem at a later date, as "links" do go stale.
PS: For all those having this problem: (and those whose cars are problem free...)
POST DATE OF MANUFACTURE.
POST NAME OF FACTORY( CAR MADE AT.
POST ALL OF VIN EXCEPT LAST EIGHT DIGITS?
Reason for posting date of manufacture? Do I have to explain? (duh)
Reason for posting NAME of factory which is producing LEMONS?
A: To shame xyz factory by name.
B: To document xyz is making lemons, make it public.
C: To document what factories made be making the "good" ones, OR time frame the "bad" ones were made in.
If the car hasn't been WRECKED:
Assuming the engineers didn't screw up when designing the car.
If you're having to drill holes in the subframe, or chassis sounds like the jigs used were set up wrong, they got a batch of parts in (sub-frames?) which weren't manufactured properly.
If it happens over time, bushings, worn or bent suspension components, tires exhibiting "tire pull" figure into the equation.

Yeah I will once it's all said and one. So here's the update, they never got to our car because one tech was out sick, they hVe to use the drive on rack at their Dodge dealer since they don't have one...it's a five hour job etc... Ad so forth. So no car Thursday...missed a half day of work...no car Friday the day they said they would do it....no car all weekend...that's nice, will not have the car Monday and ??? Very glad we own mo than two vehicles, most people don't have that luxury!this is a pain...will try to get the TSB info and post and same with our vehicle info when they get it back too us...think most Sorentos are made down in GA at the Westpoint factory.

Any luck with Canadians getting this fix? My thing pulled right when I got it, paid for an alignment and that fixed the pulling but it pulls to whatever angle the road is on. I understand that is somewhat acceptable but I've heard some people say this actually fixes that problem too.

Nope, I will probably wait next spring to ask for a recheck ... but it's still pulling for me (from Montreal).
