Default Bluetooth Phonebook won't upload.

I've got the 2011 Kia EX V6, i can pair my verizon V9 Razor and talk just fine but...My phone book only partially uploads, i get about 1/5 of it in my "contacts" section on the display, and they aren't even the numbers i call the most. Is there a special way to download the phone book? I've tried disconnecting/deleting the phone from the car and repairing it several times with the same results. Any help would be great, MD just passed a law preventing talking on the phone while driving coming this Oct, i want the Bluetooth to work properly before then. Thanks

Look back at earlier threads where mogulman[I think] went through the same difficulty and figured it out. I think March or April. You can search the threads using the dropdown above right. --Frank

Do you have the NAV system or not?

With the NAV system, there isn't a whole lot you can do. The biggest thing is to limit the contacts transferred. I could do this on my phone (with some settings in bluetooth), but it was a smartphone. Not sure if you can do this on a Razor. I was limiting the contacts being transferred to a certain category.

On the system without NAV.. You can manually enter things too.

I'm having this same problem on my Droid Incredible and the bluetooth on the Nav system. Here's what I'm going to do:
- Let the contacts sync (I get about 65 to transfer)
- Then for whichever important ones I'm missing I can add them one at a time through the phone.

From HTC Mobile Phone Support - DROID INCREDIBLE by HTC (Verizon) - Bluetooth :

You can send contacts by pressing All Programs > People > tap and hold the contact you want to share > Send contact as vCard > tap the down arrow icon, and then select Bluetooth from the displayed list > select the Bluetooth device you want to share the file with.

Sending contacts may work if your phone won't sync at all. I've found that when I manually send contacts, that doesn't prevent the car and phone from trying their automatic sync. This caused me to have a whole lot of duplicate records. I ended up having to delete the pairing and let things just do stuff automatically.

I also only get about 60 or so contacts syncing.
