Sorento Cargo Cover

I saw these cool cargo security covers for 5/7 pass Sorento 2011 on OLX Friendster. My friend ordered one for summer travels.

A dealer on ebay says that this cover will work with 7-seat Sorento when the 3rd row is down, but your website and Kia's says it will only fit the 5-seat version. Can you tell me if it would fit the 7-seat version?

I think you are talking about the cargo mat (unless I missed the one you are thinking about). I remember that thread. I'm talking about the cover that is level with the top of the seats. You can see the item on the link that kiamittens provided.

I spoke with Kia's parts hotline this morning about this. They informed me that the accessories team tells them it's for a 5pass only. I tried the cover in a 7-pass we have here. it fits the only thing that catches the eye is when the cover is pulled out the 3rd row seat belts interfere with the cover. it is really minor and something i could live with. it would not damage the cover or the seat belts.

Yeah. Interesting.. My 7 passenger actually came with the cargo cover. I just went down and checked. Seemed to work ok. I'm not using mine though.

I had the dealer throw the cover in for free when I bought the car. I have been using it regularly on my 7-passenger Sorento (with 3rd row down) and never even noticed an interference with the 3rd row seat belts.
In my model, there are two different pairs of slots where you can install it depending on how far back you want to lean the 2nd row seats.

By the way, for when you need to pull the 3rd row seats up and you don't have a chance to leave the cover out of the car (e.g. in the garage), there is a third pair of slots, roughly in the area where the jack compartment is, which work great for me for storing the cover.
