Hi Everyone,

I am new to this site and glad to be a part of it.

I have a 2011 6speed manual Sorento 2.2 CRDi with 100564 Kms on the clock.
About a month ago I was just about to get on the highway when I heard an odd rattle sound. I immediately stopped to check and noticed an oil leak under my rear differential.
Long and short of it is that I had to replace my rear differential!! I was pretty disappointed because I am very careful with the vehicle and do my services and oil changes on time. Anyways....

After I replaced my rear diff, my AWD orange error light came up on the dash. I scanned it yesterday and the following error codes came up.

Under 4WD Control
P1756 - EMC Internal Error
P1757 - EMC PWM Out of range
P1781 - Battery Voltage low

Would appreciate any feedback on this.

Best Regards.

Lohan

Try disconnecting the battery terminals for a few minutes to see if it's an old code that didn't clear? Besides that then you can clean, & put "battery grease", or vaseline on them as a preventative, or preservative.
