Does anyone know what might be causing the oil to spew forth from my engine. Actually, super fast drip from the left of the oil pan plug. Two small screws about 6" apart adjacent to oil pan???? Having it towed to dealer in the morning. Basically, no oil left in engine after oil light came on twice in 2 miles of driving.

I changed my oil and oil plug is tight, no leaks. I couldn't get filter housing cap off so no leaks there. The oil was running out of the bottom of the engine in a steady stream. Puddle of oil on drive way under car. Dip stick shows about a1/4" from tip. Nowhere near the middle line. I did notice loss of performance right before oil light came on for the first time.

All advice and informArion is appreciated...thx in advance!

Based on your statement about the filter housing cap, I'm going to assume this is a V6 3.5L. The oil pressure sensor is possibly the issue. The sensor leaks from the connector into the intake valley, pass the oil filter housing and down between the engine and transmission. It almost appears to be a rear main seal leak. Let us know what they figure out.

Im with him. If you didnt change your filter (which you can remove with a 27mm socket, 3-6in extension and 1/2' rachet) then there is no worry of the filter casing being broken. If the oil is coming from the left of the oil drain plug from above, it sound like the oil pressure sensor has failed. The intake will have to be removed to get to it. This is just an educated guess
