How's everyone doing? I've had my Sorento for a month.. She has 45k miles on it. I've learned to accept that I chose the Sori with the 4 cylinder, basic sound system, basic interior.. basic model pretty much.. I've attached some pics and I'd love to have you guys assist me with enjoying and growing with her. I have all these plans but no nothing about removing this and adding that..

My first endeavor will be to buy this Kenwood DNX771HD off crutchfield.com. The installation kit is free but they are giving me an option pay 80.00 for the kit that allows steering wheel compatibility? Do I really need this? Also, would the stereo go to waste if I didnt upgrade the speakers and everything else that would need to come along with it?

I'm interested in adding a roof rack and some roof lights.. I saw this jeep liberty with some roof lights and I'm crazy intrigued about getting it done now lol. Planning adding side skirts too or not side skirts or am I thinking running boards? Then theres adding extra lights to the front 2 panels.. I dont know what they are called..

Obviously I have alot of ideas and I'm pretty excited.. lol. Hope to share alot of memories with you guys.

Nice ride man, if you havent found it yet ,go to kiaaccessorystore.com or carid.com. They have some very nice accessories. I would go for a better stereo, seat covers, maybe a billet grille, we have the steering wheel contols on our 2013 lx ,but dont use them. I thought about the lower fog lights but some forum feedback suggest theyre pretty weak.(ive decided its not worth the effort). My only thought on accessories is to remember that, if you punch a hole in body metal, it invites rust! Drive safe and enjoy!

Some old man advise. Only make changes you must have. Any after market changes you make will in most cases cause you problems in the future. The dealer will have you sign a waiver for any problem caused by after market installations and charge you a fat fee for finding a problem caused by it. Lighting changes can really do havoc with your electrical system. The inside of you Sorento has a great color combination. Good luck and enjoy your Sorento.
