I had a possible issue with my cars AWD system. As I understand it, the car is using the front wheels but will automatically activate the rear should the need arise.
With that said, during the crazy amount of snow we had a month or so ago in NY I got stuck after being parked over night. Front tires were spinning but the rear didn't follow suit. I then pressed the lock button to lock her into an AWD state and had the same outcome. Keep in mind that we aren't talking about a lot of snow since I had already ran the snow blower to clear the area. Was just the relatively small amount of snow and ice I had parked on.
Now for my question...
Is this nonsense normal for this car or is something wrong with it?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
