Default air fuel mix problem

Ok I have a 2006 Sorento. It surges to 1700 rpm on idles also surges and chugs on exceleration. Dianostic check says the I have a #2 and #3 cylinder misfire and air fuel mis is to rich or lean. Replaced points and plugs(over 60.000 miles) still having same problems only worse. Help! Where is the air fuel mix regulator?

Did you change the plug wires too?

If a cylinder isn't firing, it could be sending the unburned gas out the exhaust causing a "rich" condition, that is compensated for by leaning the mixture out, which causes a near stall, which surges the engine as the gas mix is increased.

Your misfire still on #2 and #3?
