Thumbs down Climate Control Pump Squeal.

When the climate control pump turns on it makes a horrible squeal is there any easy fix?

Sounds like a loose belt. Check and tighten as necessary.

Had the same issue. Changed the belt. Squeal gone. Noticed that the tensioners for all belts are locked inn place by tightening the pulley on the actual tensioner. My pulleys were loose and the tensioner would loosen up over time.

Pulley bearings go bad also. I replaced all of mine at 118,000 miles and cleared the noises.

the belt is not tight, only just loosen the slide bolts and put a big bar down the back of the compressor to adjust or put Russian Tallow on the V side of the belt
