I had to replace the battery in my 2008 Sorento. When i started it, the check engine light came on. The code is P0057. I replaced the post catalytic converter oxygen sensor and disconnected the battery to clear the code. On the first start of the engine, the check engien light goes off. But on the second engine start, the light comes back on, with the same P0057 code. Any help would be appreciated.
Advance Auto read the code for me initially, told me it was passenger side. That's what I replaced. Got the sensor from them (Bosch). Do you know the code for the passenger side?
For the Bank1/Sensor2 (passenger side), the code would be P0037. It sounds like Advance Auto assumed Bank 2 meant passenger side. For Kias, Bank 2 is closest to the radiator or on the driver side.
