Obvious questions being here now

1) Ever done one on any vech before? and what.
2) Engine in or out of vech?
3) Do you know the difference in the many liquid gasket/sealers? And why they are different. Not just the color is a hint.

there is no need to have the engine out of a 03 sorento for an oil pump.the only sealant you need is the kia gray silicone along with any gaskets. i'm not sure what your auto skills are so if you're not on the advanced level i'd let a professional take care of it. also if you vehicle has high mileage it could be more than just your pump.

Hense my asking a DIY'er those three VALID questions. Based on his VAGUE question to us.

It might be over your head. Question 1
It can be done more then ONE way. Question 2 and the crystal ball is at the cleaners as to WHERE his engine is right now right? IN or OUT!
There are more then ONE sealer type. Question 3 Six in fact with versions of them too, and only two may be correct for that job. NOT what is on the shelf I had left over form..........

Unasked question
Do you like wasting money thinking you can do something and end up costing way more and breaking it first more then it was alot of the time.

of course ANY job can be done more than one way. however this particular job should only be done one way and never should the engine be out of a 03 sorento for an oil pump. also i never said there was only one type of sealant what i said was "the only sealant you need is the kia gray silicone".

Unasked question
What is an unasked question?
