Question Key fob for Keyless Entry

When we purchased our 2007 Kia Sorento EX used from a dealer and it did not come with a key fob for the keyless lock/ entry. I think ours it is set up for keyless entry and I'm condidering purchasing a key fob online because they cost less than what dealer charges.

1) How can I tell for sure if our Sorento EX is equiped for keyless entry?

2) Do I need to know what frequency the new key fob needs to be to work on our Sorento ? Is the freqency listed on the vehical somewhere?

3) Can I program it myself when I get one?

Thanks in advance for any advise you can give.

Sorentosite.com has a how-to on programming a new remote.
Looks like you can do it yourself..

The diy is for pre-facelift cars. I'm guessing 2007 is facelift and, as far as I know, has no diy.

I purchased a used 2006 Kia Sorento and did the key fob programming myself as instructed in the link above and it worked perfectly. Also, I was under the understanding that all EX models came with Keyless Entry Systems.
