Default 2003 Sorento Serpentine Belt and Alternator

Does anyone know how to change the serpentine belt and the alternator for a 2003 KIA Sorento?

Does anyone know how to change the fuel filter?

The lights that are supposed to come on when you open the doors do not come on in the front and the middle of the car, but works in the very back. Has anyone else had this problem?

The little light that lights up for the air knob does not light up. Does anyone know how to get this to start working again?

I know these are a lot of questions, but the very first one is most important!

Question one. Go here and register.

Kia Global Information System (KGIS) You might find a diagram. Second alternative is to draw your own diagram or take a picture.

Question Two. Haven't done it yet. Can't help you. Sorry.

Question 3. Sounds like the dome light diode is burnt out. Search the forum and you should find it.

Kia Global Information System (KGIS) Again go here and look under tech times.
KT2005030313 is the tech time #. With any kind of DIY skill you should be able to do it.

Cant help on # 4. Sorry.

For question 3: I don't think that the front lights should come on when the door is open. For middle (Dome light) make sure that button "Door" was pressed.
For question 5: Bulb is burnt, you need Neo Wedge bulb or LED to replace it.

maksik: That is correct. I should have been a little more clear.

the fuel filter is apparently located within the fuel pump accessible under the rear bench seat...from what I understand, its a technical feat to remove and get the entire assembly reinstalled correctly to get the pump working again.......I havent tried it
