Question changing celsius to fahrenheit

I just bought a '03 Kia Sorento today. I'm sooooo excited!!! I love it! But I noticed that the temperature was in celsius. Is there a way to have it in fahrenheit instead? I can't find it in the manual.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of your Sorento.

I don't have an EX, so I don't have that feature. But typically you have to press and hold a button for a couple of seconds to change it from one to another. Isn't there a MODE or SET button somewhere? Try that one.

Also, make sure the important recalls have been done on your car: the crankshaft bolt and the ICV. Also check your coolant reservoir tank. The standard one can crack and eventually your engine can overheat because of the coolant loss. You can read all about these issues on this forum.

Is that Denver, CO by the way?

Thumbs up C to F - FIX IT!!!

I googled it and found the answer on another site. I had to run out in the cold just now (10:30pm) and check it out. It works!!!!

Push and hold the AMB button and while doing so push and hold the temp down button until it changes. Works like a charm!!!
